After 31 years of shaping the North Texas construction landscape, Reeder General Contractors, Inc. is entering a new chapter. Founder Wes Reeder has officially transitioned ownership of the family-run construction company to his sons, Lane Reeder (CEO) and Cole Reeder (President).
Reeder Construction, known for its work in K-12 public education, private real estate development, and large-scale commercial projects, has been a cornerstone of the Fort Worth business community.
"This decision was about legacy and continuity," said Wes Reeder, Executive Chairman. "We considered several ownership models, including an ESOP, but ultimately, keeping Reeder privately owned by family ensures we can continue to serve our employees, clients, and community with the same values we built this company on."
Under new leadership, Lane and Cole Reeder plan to uphold Reeder's commitment to excellence and innovation while continuing the company's expansion across Texas and beyond.
"REEDER has always been more than just a construction company — it's a people company, and we owe our success to the partnerships we have built over the past 30 years."
The transition officially took effect on December 1, 2024, marking the beginning of Reeder Construction's next 30 years of growth, innovation, and community-driven impact.
