REEDER and Godley High School Open New Fine Arts Wing in Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Godley High School students led the ribbon cutting ceremony Tuesday afternoon, April 16, 2024, for the new fine arts addition. It will house art, band, dance, and theater programs, as well as rehearsal halls and practice rooms for the school’s future choir.

Joining the ceremony was the Godley Chamber of Commerce, Godley ISD school board trustees and administrators, civic and business leaders, representatives of Huckabee and REEDER Construction, and community members.

Phase 3 of Godley High School includes the addition of fine arts spaces for band, choir, and visual arts that will increase student capacity. The band suite will also serve as the campus’ tornado shelter.

The CMAR job also includes the expansion to the kitchen and to the Center for Learning and Innovation. The kitchen expansion will provide what is necessary to serve the full master-planned campus population, while the CL&I expansion will provide room for growth. To learn more, visit godleyisdbond.com
